3 years ago we finished the tour almost,its great to be back doing the promo.. thanx to Winny for keeping the fan site up and running, she has more stamina than me! Winny seems to know more about what im doing than me!! ha ha Im gonna release my album early next year.. i dont know how or when exactly,but if i dont do it soon i wont do it at all..think i have all the songs.. i can keep going for another year or two, but the oldest ones wont sound as good to me.. so i will just keep chasing my tail!! There will be other news as soon as i have it.. sorry its a bit boring this blog.. i should only write them when i'm drunk. Posted By: Neil: July 17th 2008 I know ..i know its been a while...i can tell by the lack of hits i've had! its so difficult to keep updating a blog,when there is not much going on...i do have a good excuse.ive been in london,there hasn't been much time at all. Please don't all cry at once but..im away for 2 weeks from thursday..going on holiday to spain..i hope you can cope with this..i do realise its gonna be difficult,but please hang on in there. So getting back to not a lot going on,I've completed another song for my album...its called 'Blood from a stone' it's a bluesy track..dont know how that came about!!There are a few reasons why the album is taking so long...excuse 1...ooh i've been away a lot excuse 2...well i was ill for 2 weeks excuse 3...been down the pub for a few months...yes but its been a year and a half since you started it..i can hear you say!lets just say I've had writers block for almost the same amount of time!it will be like a fine wine..that's if i ain't drunk it!! I will be doing a video next month for Don't drive my car' so its
imminent!!

I can see i ain't been on here much....the amount of visits has dropped very significantly!! i've only got myself to blame..i know,but i do have a good reason. I've been away in london working for the past 2 weeks..and it wasn't on my album..it was for someone else's..now i'm back i have more time to finish everything I've been saying i would!!so i'm nearly there with my album...its just finding the time..either work or family commitments ..I thought..great i will have a whole week next week..but the kids are off for a week!!so another week goes by!!i'm just having a bloody mary..i think its a great way forward..2 supplements in one.. vodka and the tomato juice which counts as a food intake. i will be updating this in the near future..once again i apologise for neglecting it!
Posted By: Neil: 8th Feb 2008 I know its been a long time...its hard keeping these blog's up when you have nothing to say ....this time i do have a few things to say..i think im over the worst of my lack of inspiration and boredom...back into getting my album "DRUNKEN LULLABY' finished.... I've been recording it on and off for over a year now..i use to say about 'Tears For Fears' taking along time over an album!ha ha.I was meaning to do more of a guitarists album..but its turned out to be more about the songs,i suppose i've been trying to find myself..well find a new sound...find myself? i don't believe i just wrote that. ...sorry i started to go up my own ass there for a sentence..anyway its nearly finished ..its quirkey..rocky..happy,the complete opposite of the 'DOGWOOD' album..only 17 of you will know what I'm on about there...there's still 5 albums left don't all rush at once will you! For the guitar fans out there the 'BULLETS FOR ANGELS' album should be up your street I'm very happy with the guitars and solos on it...you can buy it here..so go give it a listen PLEASE?For those that are remotely interested in "DRUNKEN LULLABY' don't forget to sign up here..so i can let you know when its out..it should be within the next couple of years.....oh i mean months. There are only FOUR ORIGINAL DOGWOOD ALBUMS left... after they go there are no more.. I've sold 16 so far so make it please make it 20!!

the last blog..thats because xmas got in the way...im about to apologise
for apologising again there are a few [i mean a few] of you who have
been asking about my album Drunken lullaby..when's it out..so i've
decided to do something about it...actually i've had a bit of recording
work come in so that's why its taking so long...any way...im gonna
start mixing it next week! that will take a while ..but i'm hoping
it will be out early march..its not as tortured and twisted as i expected
it..that's what comes with being content and being 47 on january 26th!!
its much more contemporary...is that another word for boring? don't
think i'd make a good salesman somehow... Silver xxxx
Its almost a year ago we finished the tour in OZ..the last show was
Melbourne...i may be wrong....anyway im still missing it as much now
as i did then!roll on the next one. The BFA out takes video was a
bit of a hit. ....i keep watching it myself and i keep laughing..it
gets funnier the more you watch it..i think its the best video i've
ever been involved in...or is it the most i've laughed in....anyway
its better than watching the proper version of the song..music is
about fun....well not much music there just fun...we couldnt even
finish the first verse!!if there are any of you that havent watched

of albums...my album Drunken lullaby is edging closer to being finished..i've
had quite a few distractions of late and lack of motivation..but its

it this year.. what with xmas around the corner..anyway there is another
interesting project that Jerry and i are involved in...jerry there's
a name from the past...i will tell you more about that next year...this

who has worked with many big artist.. such as Cher, Hall and Oates...oh

voice reminds me of Ian Hunter from Mott the Hoople? Does anyone remember
them? They were a great band...well as for me.. i'm just the guitar

The real reason its been a while is..well i haven't been arrested lately...i haven't been drunk [that's when i normally write blog's,so sorry if this one gets boring]i haven't been to Tesco's..no haircut...but i have been working on my album ...i've had more than 10 emails about buying "drunken lullaby' 11 to be precise so i'm very happy ..at this rate i could go wood [20 is wood] just finished a track called "heavygrinder" torchy wrote the lyric,he has been helping me all the way through the album he's a great writer. Love, Silver Posted By: Neil: 2nd August from the UK OK ...it's time to come clean, some of you may already know...i was ARRESTED for CHARITY!! .... in aid of my local hospital the RUH in Bath, for the premature babies ward at the Princess Anne Wing ...... I was arrested by two police officers - SEE PICS - at 10.20 am on the 19th July from my house, where handcuffs were put on (they really do hurt) i was read my rights and told of my offence which was ....being tone deaf!! ...they froG marched me through the town i live in...telling bystanders... "please move out of the way,we have a very daNgerous criminal here!!"

Talking of Supersize iit's getting bigger by the minute, all that sitting around is doing it no good what so ever! We've been trying to get together for a while now and sort it out once and for all.... it would be nice to say its due to musical differences, but unfortunately that's not the case! it's because i've been very busy as you can see... are in Brisbane at the moment,two shows, one last night and one tonight,

Posted By: Neil: 30th November2006 - From Australia Im bored of apologising, we've had a few technical difficulties with the downloads, but the good news, there will be new video clips up in the next day! We are now in Perth, its the first show tonight, and the first time we play Lovelight! i'm really looking foward to playing again, we play two nights here. Max Beesly has joined us, hes going to play drums on a few songs, its never a dull moment when hes around, he makes us laugh alot! Bullets For Angels's web site is going live soon, i"ve had a sneaky look, its great i think you will all like it very much.its not as good as mine though [joke]there are great video clips of when he first joined the band. Nice to see Jerry's mum, Delia taking an interest in my website, i think she"s making sure her son is being looked after! Delia don't worry im looking after him....it takes up most of my time,h e needs alot of looking after dosent he? Was he always like this? I'm going to sign off, got to go to the venue soon,thanx for everyone taking an interest in my site and we are still looking for a band new name, there are a few we like, but keep them coming - click here to suggest a band name. up but i have a new computer! It's driving me mad!! I can't seem to
get it to do what i want it to! I have no news about Jerry! still no ORANGE SHOES, no-one has obviously found them! Such a shame! His quest took him to the canary islands, but NOTHING!! the rain bogged him down there for a while,i do now feel he is getting slowly over his misfortune!! City We are now in MEXICO CITY! We lost power on the second show in ARGENTINA and the show was stopped for about ten minutes, but it went on to be really good! Back to RIO....on the show day Jerry lost his ORANGE SHOES, he has not been able to get over this tragedy! he has found it very difficult to go on stage without them! its like Sampson without his hair!! If anyone comes across them could you please let me know,you cant miss them. Last show tonight,it will be a bit sad to leave here! i will miss everyone! looking forward to AUSTRALIA in december! My new songs should be up any day now! let me know if you like them, also the RINGTONES (SILVERTONES) for your mobile phones to follow! Sorry i still haven't got any new video clips up, but they are all too big to send, so next week i will be posting quite a few from South America! as i go through them i will put them on the site! Anyway needless to say we"ve had a great time, Jerry is just packing, he has forgot his DVT socks! he went running after bag man but he was too quick for him.
